Games to reinforce learning

I like word games where letters are scrambled and your object is to reassemble them into as many words as possible. Well, while indulging in one, I thought: "Wouldn't it be cool if I could play this in Turkish?" So, a Google search brought me to this small site.

Nice idea. If you know of any similar sites, please drop me a note. Thanks!

I found another one here. So far, I don't like it as much as the Turkish hangman game.

While playing it though, it reminds of pleasant memories playing word games as a child with my mother. It was a fun way for me to build my vocabulary. Ironically, here I am decades later doing the same thing in an entirely new language.

And that happy memory echoes an important lesson I learned so long ago and cherish to this day—learning can and should be fun. Enjoy!

A cool feature I've found at www.mylanguageexchange.com is they have a simple wizard that takes you through the process of creating new hangman games. I especially like that since I want to see more Turkish games like this on the net and I'm in a position to contribute now. Cool.

Since I'm not a Turk (Türk değilim), I was pleased to find this site to arm me with a long list of them. Thank you, Wikipedia!
